Amazon Escape

Five days is enough for the Amazon if you spend them in the forest rather than reaching it. We fly direct, stay at a lodge deep enough that the only sound at night is the forest, and build the days around dawn and dusk, when everything happens.

Itinerary

1. •

   Day 1

   Lima to Iquitos

   Arrival and river transfer to the lodge as the light goes.

2. •

   Day 2–4

   Pacaya-Samiria

   Dawn wildlife, pink dolphins, a community visit and canopy walkways above the forest floor.

3. •

   Day 5

   Return

   Belén market in Iquitos, then the flight back to Lima.
