10 Days · Lima · Cusco · Sacred Valley · Machu Picchu
Peru Essentials
Ten days is the minimum to see the Andes properly without spending the trip in transit. We open in Lima for the food and the museums, move to the Sacred Valley rather than Cusco so you acclimatise at a lower altitude, and reach Machu Picchu rested rather than rushed.
Itinerary
- •
Day 1–2
Lima
Arrival, Barranco and the Larco Museum, and dinner somewhere that explains why Lima matters.
- •

Cusco
The city on its own terms: Qorikancha, San Blas, the market, and time that isn’t spoken for.
